More telecom is part-owned by CBA (partnership announced in July 2021), unlocking CBA customers with More's network and mobility services through the CommBank app.
Vonex (owners of 2SG Wholesale) have signed an agreement with More Telecom to develop, operate and maintain a customised software platform for the enablement, provisioning and management of Hosted PBX services, IP telephony hardware and softphone licences for new and existing SME customers of More, the strategic telecom partner of The Commonwealth Bank (CBA).
More has agreed to exclusively use Vonex as its wholesale provider of Hosted PBX services, phone numbers, call carriage and hardware to new and existing customers for up to six years.
TIMEFRAME
Agreement term is 2 years, with two further term extensions of 2 years each. The initial term of the agreement will run from the commencement date until 30 June 2024. More Telecom will have the right to extend the agreement for up to two further terms of two years each.
Development delivered will proceed in two phases. First phase which will be delivered within 21 weeks of commencement and will showcase a minimal viable product. The second phase seeing the platform fully delivered within 36 weeks of commencement.
2SG INVOLVEMENT
2SG Wholesale is wholly owned by Vonex Group (ASX:VN8) suppling wholesale offerings to businesses. Due to the agreement with More telecom, partly owned by the Commonwealth Bank (CBA), and Vonex, 2SG Wholesale will be involved in supporting the development and supply of hardware to the business. Fulfilling any business requirements More Telecom needs for this agreement.
VONEX INVOLVEMENT
Vonex (ASX: VN8) partnered with telecommunications service provider More to become More's exclusive provider of Hosted PBX services to new and existing CBA customers, and to deliver a new hosted PBX and IP telephony enablement platform for More's new and existing small to medium enterprise (SME) customers. Vonex will be utilising their owned business 2SG Wholesale to help supply deliverables to More as part of their service offerings.
